KJ’s Market IGA in Florence Gives Away Groceries to Ten Contestant Finalists

The ten finalists out of over 3,000 registrants who were part of the live grocery give-away at KJ’s Market IGA , Ebenzer Road, on Friday December 7, 2012. On Friday, December 7, 2012, KJ's Market IGA in Florence, in conjunction with WDPE and Carolina Live and Company, gave away over fifteen-hundred dollars in groceries to finalists in an online promotion.

Ten finalists were selected from over 3,000 registrants in an online promotion co-sponsored by KJ's Market and WPDE. The ten finalists met at KJ's Market, 525 South Ebenezer Road, to compete in the final round of competition: guessing the dollar amount of a cart of groceries live during Carolina Live and Company hosted by Cecil Chandler and Amanda Kinseth. The five closest contestants whose guess didn't exceed the actual dollar amount were gifted $250 in free groceries and the remaining contestants were awarded $50 in free groceries.

Winners of the $250 gift cards were: Richard Bartlett of Coward, Mark Singleton of Conway , Caleb Chukwuemeka of Marion , Anna Marie O'Shea of Florence and Angel Meggs of Conway. The fifty dollar winners were Diane Wheeler of Dillon, Lynn Hughes of Loris, Mary Perkins of Conway, Linda Simmons of Myrtle Beach, and Michael Miller of Effingham. Anna Marie O'Shea, whose guess was the closest, also received the contents of the cart.
